Over Christmas break, I got to spend time with my friends and family. For the first half of the break, I hung out my friends and we went to restaurants. The first picture shows my two best friends when we went on a night hike on a hill in Orange. I took that picture because it was a funny night and I wanted to snap a shot so we could have a picture to look back on the memory. During break, My friends and I hung out to celebrate her birthday. We drove to L.A and spent the day at little Tokyo. Towards the end of the day, we went to a Japanese restaurant in Tustin called Habuya Okinawan dining. The second picture is a picture I took of the meal we had. I decided to take a picture of it because I enjoyed the plate's presentation.
The second half of Christmas break was spent in New York and Vermont . On Christmas, I flew to NY to visit the other side of my family. On the third day there, we drove 5 hours up to Vermont to go snowboarding for the week. The last 4 pictures were all taken at Stratton Mountain Resort. The 3rd picture was taken when I was on the ski lift heading towards the top of the mountain. I snapped a picture because I wanted to send a picture of the snow on the trees to my mom. The first picture on the bottom was taken when I was snowboarding and noticed the view so I stopped in the middle of the path to take a picture. The next picture shown is my brother when we took a gondola to the top of the mountain for a run. I snapped the picture because my brother had a nice smile at it was a cool memory.
My family and I stayed at the ski resort til new years day. On new years eve we waited on the mountain til the firework show. The last picture was taken because I wanted that to be my first picture of 2022. When we got back to New York, I decided to postpone my flight and stay out there for a few more days. Winter break was fun and I got to relax for the rest of the time so it was nice to have a break from school for a few weeks.
